Kyra lives in the UK and was diagnosed with Primrose Syndrome when she was 3 years old. When Kyra was being treated for pneumococcal meningitis at just 11 months old, her pediatrician noticed several things that didn’t quite add up. That observation led to ongoing testing, and early support and treatment that helped set Kyra on the path to getting the care she needs.

Kyra is a funny, caring, and affectionate girl who loves attention and being around people. Her cheerful personality and sense of humor bring smiles to everyone who knows her.

Kyra enjoys most foods and is especially fond of snacking. She wears hearing aids and attends regular Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) sessions to support her communication. As part of her ongoing medical care, she is currently undergoing thyroid testing.
