Meet Logan
Logan is a bright, brave, and endlessly sweet little boy. He’s the baby of our family and is absolutely adored by his big sister Evelyn and big brother Leo. Logan is silly, curious, a little mischievous, and always ready with a smile that melts your heart. He loves music, snuggles, and exploring the world in his own thoughtful, determined way—and his joy has a way of bringing people together.
Logan was diagnosed with Primrose Syndrome at 22 months old, but his strength has been clear from the very beginning. Along the way, he has faced frequent respiratory illnesses and hospitalizations, countless ear and sinus infections (which led to ear tubes), motor delays that started him early in PT/OT, brain imaging studies, and a specialized sedated hearing test that confirmed permanent hearing loss.
Through it all, Logan’s smile has never faltered. Today, he wears hearing aids and works hard with his amazing team—speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and a teacher for the deaf/hard of hearing. He’s followed by 21 specialists and has frequent appointments and monitoring to help us stay one step ahead of changes related to Primrose Syndrome.
Logan is also participating in research with Mayo Clinic and Unravel Biosciences, helping scientists better understand Primrose Syndrome and explore potential treatments.
And through it all, Logan is still Logan—happy, loving, and full of light. He keeps pushing forward, determined to keep up with his siblings and friends, and reminding us every day what courage looks like.
Logan is more than a diagnosis. He is our hero—and a symbol of hope for every Primrose family. 💛
