Meet Rogan
Rogan was diagnosed with Primrose Syndrome at age 16. As far as his family knows, he may be the only person in the Republic of Ireland diagnosed with Primrose Syndrome, making his story especially important to share.
Rogan is part of a big, loving crew. He has three older siblings: Carrie, Evan, and Tane, and two younger siblings, Edie-Sue and Reed. He’s also a proud uncle to three nieces: Ellie, Nova, and Millie.
Rogan’s favorite things in the world include Jaffa Cake biscuits, his tricycle, and his iPad. And this October, he has a huge goal: Rogan will (hopefully!) complete the Dublin City Marathon in his wheelchair buggy, pushed by his Mam, Dad, sister, aunts, and uncles, an incredible family effort.
Rogan is nonverbal, deaf, and has global developmental delay, but he is deeply loved, and he is a very happy young man.
And there’s even more to celebrate: Rogan turns 18 in February 2026, and his family is planning a big party for this amazing milestone.
