Fundraiser Ideas
Bring friends, family, and community members together for a walk or run in support of Primrose Syndrome.
Begin by choosing a date, location, and route. Then decide how you will collect donations, such as through a registration fee, online fundraising page, or donation table at the event.
Color stations, bubbles, music, and children’s activities can make the event especially family-friendly. Promote the event through social media, community calendars, schools, local businesses, and flyers around town.
Helpful tip: Ask local businesses to donate water, snacks, prizes, or supplies for participants.
Walk or Run
Lemonade Stand, Bake Sale, or Craft Sale
A classic fundraiser can make a meaningful difference.
Choose a safe location with plenty of foot traffic and make your table easy to see with signs explaining Primrose Syndrome and the Beyond Primrose mission. Provide a secure cash-donation box and a clearly displayed QR code for online donations.
This idea can also be adapted for a craft sale, yard sale, school event, holiday market, or community festival.
Host a game night in person or online, organize a trivia competition, or plan a watch party for a sporting event or popular television show.

You do not have to be an experienced golfer to organize a charity golf tournament.
Contact a local golf course and work with its event team to select a date, determine costs, and plan the schedule. Recruit volunteers and sponsors, then consider adding contests, raffles, auctions, or merchandise sales to increase participation and fundraising.
Promote the tournament through social media, local businesses, golf organizations, and community news outlets.
For a more flexible option, consider a virtual golf challenge that allows participants to play at the course and time of their choice.

Beyond Primrose may send an acknowledgment when a donation is made directly to the foundation, but we also encourage fundraiser hosts to thank their supporters personally. Consider sharing why the cause matters to you and how each donation helps advance research, strengthen family support, and create hope for people affected by Primrose Syndrome.
